Hey guys -

Picked up some real JDM stock front fenders for my car. They have the properly cut out hole (since Mazda cut the hole ) for the side markers. Came with side markers, but they're clear, not amber, and one is broken.

I've heard people say you can use Mazda Tribute side markers. Question I have is are they EXACTLY the same as the JDM FD side markers, or do they just look similar and are easy to install on US cars?

And, of course, where's a good source for the side markers?

Yes Dale, they are the exact same ones that mazda uses on our cars, as far as source not sure since I got mine from ebay.

 

Since it's a US spec Mazda part, I'd say Ray/Malloy is your best source.

Anyone ever seen the part number for those side markers? I might be able to get them from Mazdacomp.

Protege's have them as well. And at quick glance the Mecury Cougars use the same.

 

too bad you didn't have a pair, I'd love to swap clear ones for my yellow ones on my JDM fd.
