The covers are already on Gordon. I stayed with tan but added quite a bit of black stichting, black seat belt holders, and the black "Mazda" logo. They turned out great and are better quality than the OEM ones. Much softer leather and Leander on the back too. Salva ( the forum member that did these) deserves much praise for the on time great job. I highly recommend him.

Sure, If you are pretty handy and have the patience, you can install them yourself, hardest part is making sure that the side bolsters fill in properly by paying close attention that the factory foam does not kink up while you are filling it into the new skins, other than that paying close attention to the dissasably process so you can perform it in reverse is key
. A cloth seat skin would be about half in price of leather.

thanks, my seats have about 110k on them and they are just starting to wear, but they have been faded for the past 5 years, thats the annoying part haha since they look purple.

Thanks man. Noel will hook you up and the quality of the leather and workmanship is fantastic. I'll be at Gordon's meet in a few weeks if you are going to be there.
I had one of the seats off this week installing as fire extinguisher bracket and I checked out how these re installed. I think most of us could do this and as Noel points out, it's mostly about getting the seat foam in the right position. These work like the stock ones and have the zipper, the back pocket, and everything.

I'll take some next week when I pick up the car. They haven't faded at all. I'll leave the pricing up to Salva. PM him. I had several speciality things done to mine (perforated leather insets) and "Mazda" logo but the price was quite reasonable compared to the others out on the market.

I ordered a set from Salva last week as they should be the star of my Tan>Black conversion. Carpet should be showing up from RHDJapan by the end of the week.
Once I get the swap done - I'll report back on the quality of the seats - but I am expecting them to be top notch.
