interior resurection

hey everyone. i just got a black interior from a 91 gtu and im trying to bring it back to life. the dash is really brittle and alot of the other things feel like they are going to snap at any second. is there anything i can use to take away from this brittleness?

i too have this problem with this . only way really is to buy a new one the plastic just weakens with age and also the type of plastic makes it weak.

ive heard something about aftermarket ones like a cf dash piece or a metal one? not to sure if there really out there cause personally id just go cf if i can find one.

I have the same problem with my 87 sport. Like what NeedFD Said. On this site www.blackdragonauto.com/index.htm they have new parts if you wanted to replace the entire thing. I think you could get everything for the dash. It might get expensive. If you get used parts you can buy this paint that dynes plastic peices. I havnt used it yet, but seems like it would work ok.

I know alot of guys put that rhino guard bed liner stuff on there (the interior application is a little different though. You might want to research it and see if they have something that can keep a stock look without having all the little bumps and whatnot in it.
