FD3S RX-7 JDM Floor mats
Here are the 3 basic designs you will come across when searching for JDM RX-7 floor mats.
1. Flower pedal pattern
2. Diagonal Stripe
3. Checked pattern
Flower Pattern:
The flower pattern ones below came off a very early 1992 model so the cutout isn't what you'll normally find. I believe these were sold 1992-95 with the majority likely having the standard cutout. I remember seeing these as a factory option in an old brochure. Very plush.
Diagonal Stripe:
The diagonal stripe pattern were sold during the entire life of the RX-7 and are easily found. Earlier models had a metal RX-7 logo while 1999+ had a stitched logo. 1999+ also came with an upgraded rubber backing which is less harsh on the carpet. These are most common in black but red was also available.
Checked Pattern:
The ones below can be found on some 2000+ models. Red bordered mats can be found on the Spirit R. They use a tie down button instead of a hook (picture below). They came with the upgraded rubber backing.
RZ/Spirit R Passenger Mat:
The passenger mat is simply shorter to accommodate the foot rest. I have a picture below showing the difference between a standard and RZ mat. 2000+ models came in the checked pattern.
Rear Mats:
JDMs came with rear floor mats. Cars with the optional flower pedal fronts came with plain black rear mats.

If anyone reading this thread is having trouble finding a set of "flower pedal pattern" JDM floor mats for their vehicle (also known as the flying pink mats by some), I have a set I wouldn't mind parting with for the right price - PM me if interested.

You'll have to hope for finding them used somewhere. They may be tricky to trace down.
Also, contrary to the above poster, the JDM mats don't fit well AT ALL in a US LHD car. The driver's side in particular doesn't clear the dead pedal properly so it's all bunched up and funny.

I believe they are called Cherry Blossom (Sakura) floor mats. I am here in japan and have a RHD RX7 with these floor mats. If any of you all want them , they are up for grabs for the right price
We're now doing OEM FD, FC and FB floor mats - both LHD and RHD. There are a couple different styles (fabrics) along with custom colored serging and really cool 'RX-7' shields (like the JDM models had from the factory).
