cut and paste. wear gloves... the aluminum foil stuff on the top cuts your hands up. use it only where it is absolutely necessary. that stuff is heavy. it does a good job though. put it on the door panels and rear panels, and around the speaker area. make sure it doesn't cover up wires and things you might have to get to later. it's pretty much common sense. oh one more thing. when possible put it in places where it will not have any contact with anything. what i mean is put it in places where things wont touch it if you take a hard turn or whatever. make sure it gets covered by the interior. it is super sticky and it will really stick to just about anything. water wont hurt it at all. it is basically made from the same stuff you use on your roof on your house... when it gets hot it is kind of tar-ish... kind of.

Dont use scissors. Use a box-cutter to make make cuts. Only put the Dynamat on where you absolutely need it. I had it in my 4runner and put it everywhere. It took a while but the interior was so quiet. If you are in a place where seasons are extreme (Im in Utah and the summers are HOT and the winters are COLD) the "tarish" will be great in the summer but will not stick in the cold.
