Hey
i just recently bought an alpine deck for my 86, i have the surround off, and i also bought a wiring harness for it. i just neet to know what coloured wires are what from the stock deck?

What did you get a wiring harness for? The car or the radio? If you bought a harness for the car specifically, it should A) plug right in, and B) tell you which wires are which. If that is not the case, then exercise a bit of common sense: Gray, green, purple, brown are usually speaker wires and come in pairs... Gray would be the + and gray w/ a black stripe would be the - for your speakers...
There will be two power wires... One is red, the other yellow. IIRC, the yellow is the constant power (for things like station memory... It should correlate with your deck) and the red goes to the ignition switch, thus turning on your deck when you turn on your car.
Black is obviously the ground wire. Blue goes to your power antenna to tell it to go up and down.
Remember to disconnect your battery before you do anything to the stereo.
