Installing CD player and speakers help!

I'm trying to install an indash cd player and speakers in the doors but I cannot figure out how to remove the pieces in order to get there. The door panels, how do I take those off. And then how do I remove the pieces in order to get to the deck?

Ok I got everything off, I need to remove the gauge cluster to get the 2 screws left on the ac side. I've done a search but can't find anything else to get it loose. I removed the screw on the right hand side of the steering wheel and then I'm pulling but it seems like something else is keeping it from coming out, is there another screw for the gauge cluster?

Bump for some help. I was able to pull the deck out, but I wasn't able to get the full gauge cluster out and I really need to pull it out now because now it isn't showing how many miles on the engine/on the tank I have anymore, those readings are not lit up anymore.

umm what year/model car you have would help, if it's an fc, you don't have to remove the gauge cluster. If it's an FD (my fd had the NON-bose system), you still don't have to take the gauges out, you just have to have the radio "keys", and you pop off the 2 side trim pieces on the deck itself, and there will be 2 hold on each side of the deck that the "keys" will go into and you pull the deck out. The new cd player will come with a cage thatyou will slide into that hole, and lock in place by bending the tabs on the cage. If you have an FD and the bose system, I'm not sure on the differences as I've never pulled a deck on a bose equipped fd.
BTW, I think you can pick up a set of those "keys" at walmart...at least you can here at my local one. Any car audio shop should also have a set, that they may let you use for a couple minutes to pull it.

I have a 94 FD with no Bose. There are 4 screwes that is keeping the panel in. There are two below the 2nd din sorta and then two on the A/C side of the panel, but the gauge cluster's panel is in the way to remove those two screws and I just need to loosen it enough to fit a screw into it.

You don't need to take the gauge cluster out to remove your stereo. You don't need to remove any interior dash pieces to remove the stereo. You should have little plastic covers on each side of your stock stereo, pop those off, get the OEM stereo removal tools that X-JaVeN-X mentioned above for about $4.00 or so, and there you go. See pictures here: http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereor...zRX7Stereo.htm

I don't have the stock deck in there, to remove these plastic covers there are 4 screws like I explained before.

if it's a single din aftermarket deck...then there should be a cage installed in the dash...meaning you need the appropriate radio keys for the brand of deck. They look like flat pieces of metal about 4" or so long. you slide those on both side of the deck to release the locking tabs on the cage and the radio will slide out. If it's an alpine deck, then there will be 2 small pins on each side of the deck that are holding it into the cage...you can pop those out of the lock on each side and work the deck forward, out of the dash. If you don't have the right keys for your brand of deck...alot of times you can use 2 small flat screw drivers (when I say small I mean like the screw drivers that are for like eyeglasses...maybe a little bigger...and slide those down both sides of the deck and release the tabs. Alternatively you could go to an audio shop that sells and installs the deck you want to remove and they should have a pile of those keys laying around.

I have no problem removing the deck from the dash, the tabs on the cage are not up, I just want to be able to remove the dash surrounding it so I can get to the wires better.
