indiglo gauges....
just installed a set of reverse indiglo gauges on 3rd gen...they look sweet, but would look even better if the needles would glow too....any ideas??? a good glow in the dark paint or sticker??? anyone have a bottle of the old toxic glow paint that they used to use in watches laying around???

The glow needle kits used to be all over eBay, but I haven't looked lately.....might want to check there.

hey jimmyv13 - sorry, you're absolutely correct. I got mixed up. I was talking to them before, they said that they can only make the red LED colour because the needles don't channel the light through them unfortunately, so the red LEDs basically just act as a backlighting effect. The nice thing about the other colours (mostly blue) is the fact that the colour channels nicely through the clear plastic needles.

I finally got a chance to get these installed. Upon further inspection, the FC needles are white, not clear like I was told. I didn't want to screw up my only set of needles, so I put it back together. I'm going to go to the junkyard and try to locate an FC gauge cluster to see if I can sand the paint off the needles or maybe they're solid white. I'm also wondering if other Mazda vehicles have clear needles and if they'd fit on the rods. I guess this is turning into a long and complicated project........ sigh.
