No. They dont. Theres a company that I found that custom made reverse indiglo gauges for the 84-85 RX-7 because enough people wanted them. They will custom make other gauges too, as long as enough people pre-order them. I personally have been waiting for the 81-83 style gagues myself, but we need to get enough people ready to pre-order them so that they will make them. Anyway, heres a pic of the reverse indiglo gauges which I personally think are much cooler than what you just posted...So lets get some people together and get those 81-83 gauges made!!

Because I like my 83 cluster . Plus, thats a lot of work isint it? Would it even bolt in? I mean, I have one I could use, but there are different warning lights and stuff, would that matter, or should I just leave them disconnected? Hmmm...

~T.J.

PS - All that work just for indiglo gauges...Damn Im lame .

I was contemplating doing this when I first bought my car, ie, switching to an 83 or even an 80 style cluster in my 85. After I checked it all out, I found out that it wouldn't work without changing the whole dash, since the gauges and their surrounds are shaped and sized differently.

Thats what I thought .

Looks like were just gonna have to get the 81-83 gauges up and going!! Everyone with an 81-83 RX-7 buy them!! . I would if I had money, lol . Heres a website to read to get the idea of how the process works: http://www.streetracerparts.com/reverse_style.htm. If you dont wanna go there, heres just a quick little quote from them that explains it:
The following "Models Under Development" need "Buy Ins" so that production can be started. Once we have 20 Buy-Ins we will begin tooling that Vehicle Model. Tooling takes approximately 3-4 weeks so so please be patient! Your Credit Card is NOT charged until after we reach the 20 Buy-In quota. We will keep you up to date on how many Buy-Ins have been made for your vehicle up until the 20th Buy In.
~T.J.

PS - If you go to the site, you will see that they use the 84-85 Mazda RX-7 reverse gauges as their example .

Do we just email the person or is there a "buy in" feature for our cars (81-83)? I didn't see it so I'm asking for someone to point it out for me. :P:

I'd be in on that, but I'd prefer KM/H too.

RMD, I'm disappointed '84-'85 models are available here:

I needed a minimum 20 people to email me and ask for 83 style gauges - to date I received only 6, so I gave up.

Manntis what are you using to make them?

Also is there any way to get different colors in stead of the red/blue combo? I can't stand that color.

Sorry Manntis, I usually plug your site for you . I just was really tired.

Manntis isint making them. He is simply re-selling them for Street Racer Parts.

~T.J.

PS - There is no buy in on their website, you have to email them and request one, or apparently you can email Manntis also and request them. Once 20 people want them (AND WILL ACTUALLY BUY THEM) they will make them .

...I'm now in LA (well, Northridge), so I only have internet café access.

Anywho, most of the stuff on my site is supplied by other companies (my price is the same or lower to what they charge directly - I just try to put all the stuff in one spot so you don't have to go look for 'em separately)

Well Manntis, should I be directing people to email you, or should I contact them again and have a buy in listed on their site...Again, lol.
