I picked R2 because i have them .. And when i have sat in all the others out here. All 93's FWIW. They all have seemed about 1 inch higher and tilted forward more. My 94 R2's seem to drop me down and back more than the 93 R1 that lives next to me..
It may be me but that is just my preference and the explanation why. Leather should not be in a car that has any intentions of hard cornering imo. Wayy to slippery and high maintanence. As if we need more of that!

I would love Base seats in a black interior. I like my tan leather in my MB car, but I really like the look of Base seats. I don't care much for the R1 seats I've seen.

There's a shop in town that can install "OEM pattern" leather seats (skins) for $600.00 a pair. Does that price sound about right??

I like my suede seats, so im voting for suede.Yes, leather is too much maintenance, my other car has leather seats and i treat them with leather treatment, and i still think they look kinda old and the car just has 14k miles.
