I can't wait......

I can't wait. I've got two more things on order, and then I'm ready to get my stuff installed. Here's what I've got and got on order:

4 4" Infinity Kappa (green cone) 2-way Speakers
2 6.5" Infinity Kappa (current model) 3-way Speakers
1 KAC-649s 4ch amp (30wx4 for the 4")
1 KAC-629s 2ch amp (60wx2 for the 6.5")

Whatcha think? Going to keep it as stock looking as possible. Hide the amps either under the bins or just behind the seats under the carpet (leaning towards under bins, I'm not that harsh on my speakers... shouldn't over heat.. ) The only thing I've been thinking for a mod is to remove the black construction paper from under the stock grills so that if someone was lookin' real hard they might be able to see a glimpse of the Kappas.

......can't... wait.... going to be an expensive install though... unless there's someone here in the Northwest that'd be willing to help? ...just gotta wait until next paycheck..

In my non-Bose, R1, I have Boston 6-1/2" RM6's (minor mods needed (?)), they pretty much kick ***! In the back I have the Boston 4"x7"(direct bolt-in) RX87's, their ok, but I'm thinking about going with the RM6's in back as well (pretty sure it can be done). IMHO, Boston's are one of the better products on the market for not too much moolah.

Sounds like an awesome system. I'm replacing my '84 Gs's stock speaker set with Infinities, and i was wondering if you listened to all of their 4 and 6 inchers before making your decision, or was it just by the seat of your pants, and your budget? If you did listen to all of them, how did they compare with the Reference series, or even any of Infinity's component speakers?
