Stupid Drivers don't need to be on the roads!!!!!

Man, we need to have a certin state we can send all the stupid drivers to live, and no not FL as there are too many there already!

Man, today going down the interstate I had some stupid *** come over into my lane and hit the side of my fairly new 05 Crewcab 2500HD Duramax 4x4 truck.
I mean his driver door was at my rear tire. How in the hell can you not see a truck this big? So once he hit me I pulled off the road to pull over. We he didn't and took off, I guess he was thinking the 250+hp his maxima had would out run the Diesel. Well, I caught his ***, got his tag number, and used my Fire Department radio to try to get a police officer enroute. Once the police showed up about 25 miles down the road he pulled over. He said he was scared that I was gonna beat his *** and well for those of you who know me, know I would never do anything to hurt a fly Wink Wink. So then we had to wait over an hour for the highway patrol to show up, becuase it happened on the highway, just to tell me that he can not write a report due to we were not on the scene were it took place. So not only is my truck damaged, I have to pay the deductable to get it fixed out of my pocket, but that dumb *** gets off with nothing on his record and I did not even get a lick in. Wish I had an old tuck that I could drive around awhile to look for him! Wait, wait...... I mean, I am glad no one was hurt and we are safe, **** that! My 2 year old was in the truck with me and that is the only fricken thing that saved him from a serious *** beating! Stupid motha F*****
There, I feel much better now. well till I see my truck again in the morning. Well going to bed now so my blood pressure will come down.

Holy **** Chad!!

When did this happen?? Was it on I-65?? I just drove up from Bham to Nashville.

How about the officer who pulled him over?? He should of wrote a report stating your call and that this punk hit you.. That should be enough for the insurance to pay for your damage and he should get a ticket for hit and run... which is illegal in almost all the states.

I do have to say one thing.. ****** cops don't do ****! When I was living in Nashville, some dumbass was switching lanes and didn't even see that I was next to him.. As he was moving into my lane, I tried to avoid contact and hit the median and pushed all my suspension up and distroyed my car. He tried to take off and I ran after him and he stopped.. Cops came and DID NOTHING!! Finally after talking to this guy and threaten to file a lawsuit, he decided to call his insurance and tell them what happened.. which his insurance wanted to total my car because it was old.. but I wanted it fixed because at that point I had over 12k in stereo in my car (88 celica convertible). I had to send the insurance 30+ pages of reciepts and they finally decided to fix it.

Anyhow, If the officer who pulled him over wrote a ticket or something, it should be good enough for you to get his insurance to pay for your truck. Don't let this **** head get away!

Good luck!

PHIL

Well it seems that I am gonna have to pay my $500 deductable to get it fixed.
This really pisses me off. That bastard got away with being a dumb ***. You would have thought the THP would have atleast cited him with leaving the scene so something would be on his record.

Did you get the Officer name or something becouse legally he has to write a report no mater what there was a acusation made and he had to write paperwork there was an accident it you reported it and his job is to record it. The fact that he let the other guy go is complete bullshit.

Ditto,

Hit and run, is hit and run. You don't have to be in the same location.

That is what I thought. I wonder if I should call the THP office and speak with someone higher than the officer that came out.

yes,do that.
this really sucks to hear but it seems its becoming typical in auto acidents. i still havent heard anything from when that ******* hit the -se and ran. the cops would only tak a report over the phone for crying out loud. and when that little bitch sideswiped my explorer and didnt have insurance, i have heard nothing from that one either.
ive been considering putting a push bar on my silverado or crown vic and ramming every ******* i see on the road. apparently they wont do anything to me.

chad im glad you and the little one are ok and i hope everything works out.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who has troubles with TN drivers. I NEVER had a problem in NJ, then I came here and in two years I've been hit FOUR times! This is the state that I lost my first 7 in. Anyway, glad everybody was okay though.

TN Hit and Run department is useless. Back in 1995 I had a hit and run incident, with witnesses who got the tag number and I was hospitalized for a day and they did absolutely nothing. I even found out where they lived and where they purchased their truck. Still no arrest. Unless someone gets killed, they don't do anything..

I tried to get a lawyer and most of them didn't want to deal with it.

The driver was a hispanic boarder jumper who married a US citizen woman who got paid to marry him. I called her and at first, she didn't even know who I was talking about. Then I said, "I think its your husband" and then she said, "Oh ya..... I don't know where he is" and hung up the phone.

Lawyers will do nothing unless the other guy has money and insurance.. So, pretty much I got screwed. Unforunately I didn't have un-insured motorist on my insurance.. Took it off 2 weeks prior thinking.. oh, this will never happen and its state law.. Big mistake in my part. Damage was over 2k and hospital bill was over 1k.

Oh, I also tried to get warrant for his arrest. With all the info I had, the judge wouldn't issue it. Kind of funny how things work.

Talking

Does this mean if I shoot someone on the interstate and I didn't get pulled over until 10 miles down means that I am innocent?

In TN it does, well it seems that way. Well, it is looking like I am gonna get screwed on this deal. He might end up with a new paint job/ body work for what looked to be old damage to his car. And well I might have to pay the $500 deductable and have my rates go up for the next few years. Man, I tell you what I might have to just buy a junker and drive around with no insurance and well do like the rest of the sorry *** loosers that get away this this kind of bullshit.

Sorry guys, had to vent there a min.

I know what you feel like though Chad. My 2005 Dakota has been hit twice (once while parked at the car dealership and once just up the street) and they decided that the last one was going to be blamed on me, won't go into detail of the crash) and they are raking my prices up. I'm thinking of selling it to my father and buying something old that I don't really have to worry about. Just thought you'de like to know your not the only one in that boat.
