i dont have any pics but on my 91 i put in a short shifter with the MOMO carbon fiber combat shifter with a red boot and it look sweet i like this shifter with a short throw looks and feels great

Hey Reboot what color is your shift boot? If u have the 99 Jspec type u can put a Razo type shift **** it's black with Red sitching it look like it was made for the FDS,also there is 2 different type one is lighter than the other model but same desgin.

 

I have one from street glow. It is black leather with the tiny tiny green neon around it. Looks good, but no pics

Tiny green neon is what is funny. It is ricy, but it is your car do what you want.

 

I have the Mazdaspeed leather shift ****. I really like it.

I have the same one. I like the feel, but the base is fatter than stock. I will have to fabricate a new plastic piece to go in the top of my new boot, so the sizes will match.

 

THANKS! now I feel bad! lol. oh well. when you look at it you cant even tell that it is a neon. It just looks like a reg shifty ****. lol FORGIVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miata shift **** on an 89+ shifter in my 88 10th AE. Gives a better look and feel IMHO.
