How to polish?

I like to know how to polish a manifold properly. How is it done, and what I need to do it. Its a V6 MX-6 intake manifold.

I had a hell of a time finding the wheels ect .. that rob mentioned. Just go and buy sand paper 40 to 1500 and go at it. After 330 you will realize that you should have sent it off. If you use wheels your first time you'll have shitloads of flat spots. Itll all make sence to you when your done.

Usually TRUE! Anything more complicated than a y-pipe and I have to seriously consider whether or not it's worth the trouble of starting the task (it can sometimes cost MORE for a polishing shop to fix mistakes/errors that you make).

yep, I started on a compressor housing and realized how much the dremal fucked me up than the regular sand paper. Is very worth sending it and having it polished. Garfinkel did my work. It was a awsome job, I would recomend him to anybody. It sounds easier than it really is.

I poilshed two UIM/TB's using my dremel(w/ lots of sanding drums and disks) and a drill w/ 4" polishing wheel. Don't even bother doing it by hand.

all the saning drums right. Those drums are cheap either considering that they only last about 2-3 min
