how much lower is the gtc front bumper than the stock w/o lip? i was thinking of getting one but my car is lowered, and i don't want it to be scratching up all over the place. is it a significant drop?

Yeah there is a notable difference. I just installed mine and ill try and post some pics this weekend. My dad says the same thing, that ill be scraping on every bump here in North Dakota.

 

I barely noticed any drop with my GTC front end. I had the 99' spec lip before though, so without a lip before there is probably a 3-4 inch drop, maybe a bit less. I don't know how you could try this but if you've got a friend thats got a lip or something, test with that, it's very close the GTC height, and at least if you do touch seeing as your car is lowered, you won't smash it to pieces like fiberglass.
