how to install SPARCO EVO in FD ? help please!!!

I just purchased sparco evo`s for my FD, i been researching for the last couple of hours but did not find any clear explenation of what i need to install these seats. I believe all I need to install these seats is to buy MEMORY FAB LO RAILS ? i am not sure which rails to buy, can anyone help please ? a sliding rail would be GREAT!!!....

thanks for your help guys

The MemoryFab brackets say they work for the Sparco Evo:

http://www.memoryfab.com/products/detail_accessories_3/

They will replace the stock sliders. All you should need is the seat and the rails.

It says it right there.

"Our prices are based on single locking sliders, dual locking sliders are available for additional cost."

Btw, thanks mahjik for the link. I think im gonna have to pick up some of these sliders and the s58 bucket seats. Although i cant figure out which one i want, the s58 or the s68. Damn so hard to choose lol

Dual verse single locking is based on the sliders. You have two sides to your slider; single locking only locks one side. Dual locking locks both sides. With single locking, you could get a "little" flex since only one side will prevent the seat from sliding. I've never had a problem with single locking sliders, however it bothers some people. You can tell a dual locking slider as the locking bar will connect both rails together.

I've never tried Bride rails. I'm sure they are high quality. Just pick one that provides what you need and order it.

Looks like it hits. You can see the indentation on the seat in the last pic. I thought someone had posted that Sparco Evo's fit in FD's on the "what seats fit" thread. hmmm..... it must of said with modification.

Is there any more room to move it closer to the tranny tunnel?

definitely not too much room to move over.

what i have seen people do to make a better fit is take the seat cover off and banging/folding the outer seat wing back a little bit. that's the only part that rubs on the seat.

just a heads up for taller people, i am 6'0 and i barely fit with my helmet on.

you have to trim the shell if you don't want it to dent the door plastics...

just take the fabric off and trim it with a cutting wheel.

its such a small amount to remove, you don't need to modify the fabric.
