NOPE dont just splice another wire into it, it will overload the circuit on your head unit. to do it right, just go to your local auto parts store and buy a relay(I like using the Bosch)

Splice it. You dont need a relay. Worked in car Audio for 4 years. We never used a relay at my shop.

OR you can run a wire from out of the remote terminal on one amp into the other amp.

Thanks alot guys, I already done what bamastdnt suggest yesterday to see if it work and it did work fine, And since he also mention there is no need for a relay I will leave it that. Also my amps are not that power it's 200watt for Rear 6x8 and 220 for the Bazooka tube 10inch. Khris

How about running two amps off the same power wire? is that ok to splice that too?

Yeah, you don't need a relay. I had one originally in the first car my setup was in. When I moved it over to my current car I axed the relay. Sony head with a Phoenix Gold EQ and 2 Fosgate amps...all running off the one lead. No problems for 3+ years.

If the gauge wire is large enough to supply what both amps want then yeah and they come straight from the battery or dist. block from the battery. I've got 4 gauge from the batt to a dis block then I think 6 gauge to the amps and like a 12-14 to the EQ.
