hoods???

what is the best fitting aftermarket hood that doesn't need the use of safety pins? who makes? price?

All of the aftermarket hoods will require pins for safety. They are all made of fiberglass or carbon fiber (very rare for the entire hood to actually be cf), neither of which is rigid enough.

Also, even high quality fiberglass hoods will likely require some fitting, as every car is a little bit different.

What he said ^. You need the error margin.

Hood pins don't have to be ugly either. I'm using red sparco ones to match and I think they actually look pretty good on it and I'm not into rice.

yeah i have them on my scoot hood now, but i'm looking for a more "sleek" look. i might just go with the cusco locking pins, but i've read that the vis cf hood needs no pins??
