High beam + Low beam mod?

I swear I've seen a DIY on it but I can't find it... How do I wire up the high beams so that the low beams stay on when the highbeams are turned on? Thanks.

the stock setup uses one bulb to do both the high and low beams....it's not possible to run both at once.

It's a dual filament bulb, man. It can be done.

The bulb filaments share a common ground. Your light switch and low/high trigger control a 12V constant to one of the filaments at a time. There are a couple of different ways that you could do it using relays. The set up would probably have to be a bit elaborate to completely prevent overtaxing/melting the factory wiring. You also may face excess heat issues by running both filaments simultaneously, though you probably won't be using the high beams all that often. I guess I could think it through for you and tell you what to do if you really wanted.

sorry, I merely should have said that on the stock setup it's not worth the wasted time and effort to put extra strain on an already weak wiring system and try to over run an outdated housing design to get minimally more light while your high beams are on.

I have RE HID sleek light kit... I should have mentioned that in the first place. Now, does anyone know how to wire this up? I'm really a noob at electrics so I need to know which wire goes to which...

Just give you guys a heads up, I was able to make it work, with my HID kit, you simply connect the Headlight Relay driven signal White/Green wire with Low beam output Red/Yellow at the connector under the dash (center of steering wheel) Its a blue X-04 Connector...

I am using a dedicated FOG and 35watt HID kit so I dont have a problem with overloading the wire or blowing the fuse!!!
