HELP NEEDED up grading from tape to stock CD
OK I have just the stock tape player in my FD but want to upgrade to the stock CD.. is this a good choice??? or should I just go aftermarket? I need to upgrade my speakers too, so I know I might need more power.... or I was thinkin my stock speakers might sound better with more power going to them.
Let me know what you think, i can get the stock CD player for like 40 bucks.
thanks
Allen

Yeah if you just want to play cd's without lugging the car adapter tape thingie - go for it
If you want to upgrade the sound quality as well for cheap - the sony d-bass units and some nice infinities or cerwin vega's (personal favorite) will give you some nice bass, good highs, and decent midrange.

I'd go with aftermarket. It'll make it look a lot nicer, give you RCA hook ups in the back so you can add subs/amps etc. Plus maybe the stock cd player can't play burnt cd's , in my case thats all i own.
Just a few plus's to aftermarket.
