HELP- muck on car
Alright. So I live in the city, with some industrial areas in a 5-10K radius. No acid rain though. However, I have some weird freckled look going on on my paint. It seemes to have occured the day company blocked my entrance to the garage. It had looked like it might be sap, BUT, after 2 car washes, 3 rubbing compounds, a clay bar, and a visit to Ming detailing, it is still there. And the guys at Ming didn't have a clue what it was. The Ming guys tried about 3 different cleaners they had, but the freckles were still there. Less noticeable, but there none the less. They thought it might have been due to hardwater, but I haven't exposed the car to hardwater. And, it's slightly pitted, slightly.
Does anybody have any possible ideas what the heck could have happened to my paint? I'd post a pic, but it's hard to tell the spots. I'm losing my mind over this, and I'm spending too much money on things that aren't working....

You could try some of that clearcoat scrub compound. I think meguire's makes it. Also, 3m fine cut polish gets alot of stuff out. When my car was at the shop for a few months it got covered in concrete dust from the nearby factories and then rained on. The sun dried and baked that crap on and it was a pain to get off. I used oil and vinegar to get rid of it.
