Help! Indiglo Gauge Connecting to Headlights. Searched but still no help.

Hey guys i got some indiglo gauges today. i got them because my original gauge lights didnt turn on so i got these... i wanna tap them into my headlights. how do i do this. i searched and it didnt help. ppl said they did this and that... but didnt explain where and what and what not... please help me out... i dont have test light things.

oh yeh i have an 86 GXL

which wire. where do i connect. please help
