have you removed your spare tire?

i was thinking about taking mine out to make room for some amplifiers and radio equipment... but getting stuck somewhere without a spare makes me nervous... have you taken yours out?

My spare tire is currently flat, rendering it useless, so for now it's out. I'm still deciding if I want it permanently out or not, because if I ever do get a flat, I can just call AAA for help.

Its out since the car is low with 18s, the 16inch donut wont do anything except fruck up aero parts. I did get a flat one time lately too, and I drove it on the flat, the bead held the whole way about 2-3 miles and not a scratch on the rim. Granted I got my tires stretched

... Mine is out due to the fact that i own a Wrecker Service and a Body Shop..... But i guess it is not a good idea but if you do keep some fix-a-flat stuff etc... in your glovebox...

yes,I weighed it and the jack and it was 24 lbs. my 18 inch rims and tires now only add about 15 lbs more than stock. I got fix a flat just in case.

Mine is out only because the roll bar I'm installing mounts where the jack/tools are at.

I'm very leary about removing it as I've used it in the past. While you can always call a tow service, it sucks to be waiting for hours (if it takes them a while to get to you). You could always carry something like this:

The BMW M3 has a "Mobility Kit" like it which is stock.

Mine is out too, bought the car with a sub in the spare tire compartment. I plan on going back to stock someday...
