Ground Whine noise?

I've installed stereo systems (at least two amps- one on highs and one on lows) in 6 of my cars, and I've always had this problem. I've gotten rid of them normally by regrounding, filters, etc.

Well, this seems different.

It's the typical whine that gets a higher pitch with higher engine speed. I installed the amps and speakers, perfect. No engine noise......

Then I installed a 6-channel crossover, and now the noise is whining like a bitch.....

I have regrounded, double grounded, and used ground loop isolators and noise filters. Any suggestions?

THanks guys!

the system:
pioneer 930r deck
rcas connecting input to all amps
memphis 600w 2ch amp
memphis 300x 4 ch amp
memphis xover

the speakers shouldn't matter, so I won't mention them. by the way, it's 4 gauge wire power and ground) and the ground wires only about 2 foot long......

I've actually got the amps grounded on either side of the rear strut tower bar (the bolt that bolts it to the clamp that holds it to the strut tower (if you can understand that).

Is that good enough?
