greddy temp sensor

Care to define 'broke'?
The wires on mine broke off, right at the sensor; I was able to solder them back on quite successfully. Just had to put quite a lot of heatshrink around them so that the wires bent from further back, not at the soldered join.

Broken wire on Greddy Temperature Gauge Sensor
Mine also broke off right at the water temperature sensor. I fixed it the same way as you and tried to take the stress off the soldered joint that I made and it and it worked well for a little while and then broke again. The first time it broke there was problem that there was no wire from the sensor exposed to the outside world because it had broken flush with top of the sensor. However, I was able to dig down into the sealing material in the top of the sensor but there was still very little wire I could expose, so my soldering joint was rather poor. I thought I had taken the stress off the joint by using good epoxy to hold the sensor cable and the sensor tightly together and prevent stress on the solder joint, but clearly ultimately that did not work out too well!
Anyway, a question, does anybody know if Greddy (or anyone else), sells the sensors separately as a spare part (unlikely, I know, but...). I’m not concerned about the cable because I can just slice the replacement sensor "head" into the existing cable - all I need is the sensor itself with a short length of cable attached.
I’ll also try the buy/sell forum
