Hey Guys,
A vendor on this forum, Shinautoproject, has agreed to consider making a completely custom hood for our FD's. Basically he needs to know that people are actually interested before even attempting a project of this sort, so I'm posting this thread in every forum FD owners will possibly look. If you have any interest at ALL please express it within the following link:

Here's a couple pictures of the hood I have in mind that I've asked Ken to make:

The ONLY changes I've asked Ken to make/consider are to NOT add the louvers that are pictured on the hood, but instead add the small vents that are on the N1 hood or the Knightsports Hood located at the back of the hood where its mounted to the car. Simply one vent on each side PLUS the huge vent in the middle. Please post in the link provided above if you have any interest in seeing this made. Thanks in advance.

I'd be interested if the price was resonable. What are the specifics? Will it fit a car with all the ancillery parts such as airpump, air conditioner etc? What about fitment issues in regards to aftermarket IC's and such? Finally, would it be made out of FB, or a modded OEM hood, carbon fiber? BTW, I think that hood is so bad ***.

What kind of setup do you run, and/or planning to run?
Not too many specifics so far, that I know of anyway. Made mostly for V-mount users (since it will benefit us the most) but I'd imagine it would be good for anyone. I'd imagine it would be made from carbon fiber, but it's hard to say at this point. I'm sure if it was made where the duct didn't go down TOO far so it could still be used for stock setups, but also down far enough where we could hook up some rubber type ducting to meet the IC, would probably be the best bet. But that's just me, I don't do body work so what do I know, haha. Just a thought.
+1 for this badass hood!
