Anybody know?

they do make flat colors in house paint and in spray paint but im not sure if you could use that on your car.

semi gloss is what i would reccommend if you dont want that deep rich clear coat shine (which is what I thought everyone wanted) but flat is just too flat.

Try to start a new trend instead of following what everyone else in your ricer club is doing.

Any paint color can be made to dry flat. In the paint mixing system we have at the shop there is a flattening agent which is like a ground up chaulk, that you add in with the toners when mixing your color.

Sprockett: Its not me doin some ricer thing and im not just gonna primer my car. I just want a flat non flashy paint because I dont want to stand out more than i have to. Having a lowered car and a loud exhuast is more than enough to notify the local law enforcement. So the less i stand out the better.

Also i dont run around with any ricer kids actually. All of my buddy's drive muscle cars, except for my one buddy with the awd tsi talon.

House of Kolor sells additives that will make paint come out flat.

BTW, I don't think you'll stand out at all with a regular shiny paint job. 99% of cars on the streets have shiny paint. If you have a loud car, lowered, whatever, I don't think dull paint is gonna make you transparent to the cops. They'll be able to spot you just as easliy with dull paint then with shiny paint. Just my .02. I think the flat black paint will look pretty good either way. Good luck

Paint it Montego Blue and let it get dirty. No one will notice your car. It's great!

Sprockett: we're cool man. And yeah the stealth bomber kind of paint look is what im goin for

LT1-7: i know flat paint isnt gonna make me invisble to cops, but most of the cops in my area will pull and import over in a secound for anything. And most of the imports around here have flashy bright colored paint jobs so they just stand out more and if i can stand out any less the better off i am.
