i actually went to go look at some paint today and its more of a satin black. hot roders use it. i love how mate colors look on old school cars so i think i will be going for it.
lol yeah. i just dont like the vr im running with now. iv always disliked red cars. to many vr 7s out there too. but i do love my car and yes eventually i will get a nice three stage paint job for it. but for now im going flat black. like the way it looks. keep the burns coming there only motivating me more to go through with it lol

Hmmmm... I actually like that. Really different. I didn't like the one in your avatar, but that's pretty $$$. I hope it turns out to your liking. Must be growing on me or something.
I think that Matte colors look good when there are a number of body lines to give depth. I think it relies on the car's lines rather than the paint, which might be why the RE car looks better than the first one posted. The hood, front end, and fenders of the RE car makes a lot of angles, which helps a matte paint job pop. The first one posted is too rounded (read: stock FD) for the paint job to really work. A gloss paint job would allow light to play with the natural curves of the body...a matte job just masks curves but accentuates sharp lines and angles.
hey turbo II FC, im going to use one of those pictures as my avatar if its cool with you.
