fitting in

has any of the BIG guys done any modifications to the interior to make it an easier fit into the 3rd gens? im 6'5 fixin to get a seven and wondering if im the only one having this problem. thanks

IMO, I would look at a different car. I'm sure you like it, but will it really be worth the effort? Probably not.

However, here are some things to think about: First, where is your height, in your legs or in your upper body? That will determine where to start first. If your height is in your upper body, you'll have headroom problems. A 3rd Gen RX-7 (FD) without a sunroof will give you a little extra clearance. If your height is in your legs, you'll have issues clearing the steering wheel. The steering wheels does not have a tilt function. It's possible that you might have both clearance problems.

Some things to help:

Head room:
Aftermarket seat with lower seat rails
Bolting the seat straight to the floorpan

Leg room:
Aftermarket smaller steering wheel
Spacer or quick release with an aftermarket steering wheel

6 5" thats what 195ish?
