Question Fitment on faspac hood?

I like the way this hood looks but it says doesnt work with apexi intakes. Does that mean the new ones or the larger old ones?

Anybody even have this hood with apexi intakes? I really like the hood but dont want to spend the money if it wont fit..

Anyone know how the fitment is on this hood?

Have you contacted them?

Some people were reporting that they were no longer producing that hood. You might send them an email or something just to verify that they are still producing it.

Yep, I know. There are plenty of companies on the internet with products on their sites that they don't sell anymore. You should check just to make sure.

The only person I saw on the forum that bought one, didn't have any fitment problems, however, they didn't have an Apexi intake either. I'm sure that if you worked at it a bit, you could get the Apexi intakes to fit, if that's what you have or are looking to install.

those hoods were a pain in the ***. the fitment was crappy, and the hood it self was made with crappy carbonfiber.

The examples I have seen (at SS4 and SS5) didn't fit all that well. Of course, a good bodyshop can make just about anything fit well, but to be honest, ALMOST NONE of the aftermarket hoods I saw fit as well as stock except for 1 or 2 Mazdaspeed ones (or replicas). This was kind of depressing. Maybe people just aren't going through the trouble to get them fitted properly, but I saw a lot of aftermarket hoods at SS.
