well depends what crowd you fall under... the rx7 community seems to be very diverse but the 2 main categories are the purist and the extremist... I consider myself an extremist, I love the wild crazy style and the RMagic hood is awesome.

I agree. Unless you're on the track in a race car, why deal with the ugly pins and rain coming in your hood? The stock aluminum hood is nice and lightweight.

If your FD is running hot, I'll bet a vented hood ain't gonna fix it. Proper ducting leading to clean oil coolers and a big fat radiator are the most likely answer.

Question: could one run the r magic hood with out pins. Or is it a given , you need them to hold it down?
