Figured it out!

I figured out why I blew 6 fuses, 3 illumination dials, and got 1 ticket while my gauge lights would not come on and I'm pissed. I had the guys at the circuit city shop hook up my blaupunkt cd player 6 months and when they did, they wired the illumination (orange) wire to some other wire not in use coming out of the connecter, not the player. So... therefor... my illumination wire was recieving a 12v feed into it!!!! I would sue if I wasnt so against suing for stupid reasons over little amounts of money. Two words F**K them

Its easy to say, not if your not electrically inclined and can barely get more than an hour of freetime even on the weekends. Man, girlfriends do get in the way

its pretty easy to wire up a deck, how long did it take you TTurboXfd3s?

with the adaptor which you can by, its only connecting like 8 wires together... unless your kinda slow, it should be very fast seeing as most of the eletrical connectors have the same color wire as on the decks...

I tried installing a cd player head unit in my beater 89 civic last night. Burned out my ignition 12v on the wiring harness. I think I plugged myself in the **** this time. Oh well, as long as I have my trustee portable cd player mini-boombox to jam to fleetwood mac in the car, I'm good to go.
