FD3S Subwoofer ideas
Alright so The trunk is small enough and I wish to conserve a little bit. How many of you have some custom boxes made that fit nicely into the trunk. Ideally looking to go alongside the air wave system but will remove is necessary. I am trying to fit one simple 10" kicker and am trying to decide where the best/efficient fit is. If any of you have some custom boxes post up some pictures please. I was going to attempt the wheel well, but it's carved and appears a 10" sub won't even fit!

If you really plan to keep the bose system then the wheel well is your only shot. And if you search around, there are plenty who have put a 10" in that spot if you fiberglass it in. I dont have the Bose crap so I went with 2-8's behing the divider which still leaves me space. Well what little I have anyways...lol

dohckiller808 That looks very well done. I think I will attempt to throw it under the strut like Damon has done. However his measurement says 10" I am fairly certain the clearance is only 9.5" maybe remove the carpet? My objective is to hopefully let it fit under the cargo cover, just so my rear window does not become a mine ready to me smashed. Keep posting your ideas, lots of good ones to consider!

We will be mass producing a subwoofer box for the fd in the next two months, price point will be under $250. It will be out of mdf wood and fit right under the rear strut bar, installs in 5 minutes so when you go to the track you will be able to take it in and out with ease.
