FD3S Carbon Fiber Interior only $500
I don't believe that anyone has posted this here yet so I think I will. A company out of Hong Kong on eBay makes these and sells them, they are full replacement parts for the Gauge Hood, Gauge Bezel, A/C Bezel and Shifter Panel. I was going to originally buy this set for my car but I ended up just having a painter friend paint my pieces for me. I don't know personally how the fitment is, however I did contact someone who bought these and they said that the fitment was really good. I just figured I would post this up for anyone who is considering the option of carbon interior panels for a really good price considering most sets like this go for $1000+
Here are the pictures from the eBay ad, they look really good... better in fact, than many versions I have seen done, the carbon fiber is laid well and looks like it was laid in single full sheets, not chopped up pieces like some companies make that look god awful

I've been eying that for a little bit and want to take the plunge but I can't find any testimonial on the company or the kits. The other thing that I don't like is that they don't offer the door parts.

^yeah same here, I scrolled through their entire list of people to find who bought the pieces for the FD and only found one guy, I contacted him through eBay and he said this
"I had to do some tweeking but they're very good and they are replacements"

This is why doing any type of manufacturing or production in China is dealing with the devil...and I have fairly extensive experience with this. They rip anything off. I have no idea where JKL or other companies had their molds done but chances are this is where the company got their product from and are now undercutting the original buyer.
Considering JKL is a criminal in my opinion and we have yet to see another viable offer I don't really have an issue with them selling these parts especially if they fit ok...because the price sure is nice. Good find.
Edit: Just FYI linking to Ebay is a no no around here and you may get a warning or a vacation.

Umm what are you talking about? Most places charge like 200-250 per piece to make these. You get a whole set of 4 for 500, that's a deal whether is comes with the side pieces or not...

It "looks" good.
IMO all china/knock off parts looks good but the fitment is horrible.
I'm making a kit also for both lhd and rhd made in USA. I don't have any final production pictures but there's plenty of progress pics in my thread. I'm also using a vacuum infused method which has it's ++ over hand laid parts. 1 of it being straight weave pattern. Also all my parts will be test fitted on a actual dashboard so fitment will not be a problem.
My point is you get what you pay for but i'm interested to see how the fit and finish is of the above product as the buyer receives it.
I made this piece today and the release film is still on there so the part looks a little dirty.
As you could see the difference in the weave. I prefer straight weaves over wavy ones.
Here's the A/C Panel i made a while ago.
That's all i wanted to say and check out my thread if your interested in the kit i'm making.

Also wanted to add JKL was the only company making this kit, so it's possible this is the same mold used for there parts.
If your talking about a dry look, yes.
2 ways that i know of..
-Flat clear coat
-Wet sanding until you have your desired finished

These pieces look great and the price is good for the set but would look out of place and incomplete without the door pieces. The only place I found with the door pieces I would not buy from due to crazy prices and bad dealings.

Eddie...yes he did. We might have to stage an intervention soon. CF parts that I'm aware of:
hood, front bumper, rear hatch, fenders, gas tank lid (major weight savings), interior pieces, mirrors, and that is all I can think of at the moment.
We should make it our civic duty to find random CF **** and tell him about it.

Well after all the x-mas shopping is done, I plan on purchasing this kit. I don't care if there are no door panel in carbon fiber since I do plan on painting the carbon fiber ones. It is cheaper to buy all those pieces that are "new" than buying the actual new panels from Mazda or used from the forum.

my thoughts exactly. I have the $300 CF overlay kit with real CF and it looks great, really great, but in my head, its not 100% legit like i would like, haha. Maybe for my tax return il buy this set, that should be around the time i finish the interior on my car.

I'd be in for a plain weave version, and EVO-R is making carbon door pulls if you just want some carbon on doors to match. All together I think it would look sick. Seen here:
