Does it keep all of the other settings after being turned off? If not then it's the constant wire you need to check. It should be yellow and may have an inline fuse on it.

Yeah, sounds like the constant power isn't working right. That's what keeps power to your stereo when the car is turned off. Check your wire connections and the fuse on the wire, the fuse may just be blown. Or it could be worse and the deck itself can't keep the memory.

I'm hoping the wire colors are the same in the US cars as in yours, the constant power wire should be blue and red. There should be a yellowish wire coming from your stereo, again hoping it's the same, that has an inline fuse built into it. Connect these together and that should solve your problem. If it doesn't, maybe you can take a pic of the wiring of both the car and the stereo and post it up. It will be easier to direct you that way.

I'll try to do that. I'll be out of town but the hotel I'll be at has wireless so I should be able to check it.

For the red wire is there an inline fuse on it and is there a red and blue wire coming from the car? If so, connect these two together. Whichever line has the inline fuse on it should be connected to the red and blue wire, it's the direct connection to the battery. For the stereos I've hooked up in my own cars the constant power is yellow not red so that's why I ask.

In the thumbnail pic it looks like you crossed the red and yellow wires, unless they are just colored different for some reason. The larger clear wires with the red and white plugs on them go from the preout on the deck to the amp. I really think you need to take this to someone local to you that knows stereo wiring to get everything straightened out. It's honestly easier to figure out wiring problems in person. No offense, but you need to find someone near you that knows what they're doing and see if they can show you how to do it right.
