FD Seat Rail Solution!

These are low, and says they fit many types of bucket seats. My question is whether the recaro SPG/SPG3 includes the Recaro Pole Position.

Does anyone know if these would work with Recaro Pole Position Seats?

The issue with the FD rail is that (besides the obvious that buckets don't bolt up to them without work) the seatbelt receiver is integrated into the rail. I'm assuming that this aftermarket rail does not allow for it.

Not an issue if you plan to go with a racing harness of course, but I'd like to keep both options available, particularly if it's street driven. Harnesses are a hassle to put on just to go around the corner/etc.

No, they don't fit the Pole Positions, only the SPG.

Do you have info to support that? If the pole positions don't work, then I'm sure the SPG fits in the FD right?

According to this link, MemoryFab makes a super low rail for the FD that does fit the Pole Position and allow use of OEM seatbelts. Don't know if thats actually the case, however.

This is good news. Thanks for the link. I will post pics, and let you know if it works with oem belts.

Ok, that's good enough for me. I'll take your word for it. I bought the rails from memory fab today, I'll take some pics when I get them.

Did recaro not have seat rails? Or the place you were buying them?

Ok, so does anyone know if the Nagisa rails will let you use your seat belt, I actually think they do. I have Sparco corsa seats and NEED something to get these in; but I need to use a seat belt with them. Finding seat brackets for the FD is frustrating.

The Nagisa rails do support the stock seat belts, if you look close you can see where the seat belt receiver bolts up.
The MemoryFab seat rails also support the stock seat belts, I know because I have them.

Lots of misinformation around here.

Pole Positions have the same sidemount bolt pattern as the SPG. The issue is that the Pole positions base is wider and once the rails are bolted to the floor the seat might not slide between them to bolt up. If you weld you can fix that and make the rear rail mounts wider.

I can get seat rails for FD in NZ for NZD$150 each side, very low mounting and fit pretty much all seats. I managed to fit my Mazdaspeed seat on the rail with a bit of modification but fixed back seats will fit as it has multi fit holes.

Bringing this back from the dead, but does anyone know what rails to use with the stock RZ/Spirit R recaro's? What is the recaro model for the stock RZ/Spirit R Recaro's anyhow? Mine have some not so good rails with no tilt or way to use the stock seat belt.

The rails are Mazda OEM and the Recaro seats are a model specifically designed for the RX7 (to fit the tranny tunnel).
