FD rear seats....

Just wanted to see some pics of the JDM rear seats for the FD. I don't remember the price, but were they somewhere in the several hundred $$ for a pair?

If someone has pics please post and the price too.

THanks.

I'm halfway serious about selling my Jspec rear seats since I just bought a 2nd car and don't really need to carry more than one other person anymore. I paid $700 for them - they were from a 2002 wrecked FD and are basically brand new.

Here they are installed in my ride:

Will consider selling to someone local who can swap black storage bins and associated trim with me.

Jason @ jt-imports can find them for you, but they usually go for $500 - 700 shipped. I originally wanted them pretty bad, but then I realized that a lot of people look into the car when they walk by. I'd prefer to have all the bottles of coolant & oil, paperwork, personal belongings, etc stored out of view, but not rolling around in the trunk. A minor inconvenience, but still
Also, from all the pics I've seen of them on the 'net, only legless small children w/posture problems would fit back there.

I believe someone on the forum named "Patrick" w/ a silver FD as thier avatar listed his back seats in his signature (located in San Diego). You guys might want to hit him up.

Many FC's came with rear seats in Canada. I got a 1990 GXL w/ rear seats. Yeah, they're small, yes, other two door cars have lounges back there. But it's still well worth it for that extra people capacity.

LoL!

Yeah, i dont really think back seats are really necessary. There is so little room back there. But then again you must have your reasons for wanting back seats

Ill bet it would it cut down on interior noise. I think that all of the padding/leather would help substantially. Plus, the rickidy rackidy crappidy because its plastic-y plastic panels look dumb. This is my own opinion.

You sure did! Hope all is well in the Midwest (except when the Miami Hurricanes finally take the top spot from Oklahoma). I got a MINI Cooper a few weeks ago so that is my "back seat" these days.

They would be lucky to get past VA Tech Sooners dominate so much, that their bad game, they still dominated Missouri. Muzk saw you a few weeks ago on May, you were getting on the N.W. Expressway, you were probably heading to Hooter"s.

what parts exactly are involved in the swap if i wanted to go from rear seats to bins? I thought it would be the just the actual buckets and the rear divider that was different, but are the speaker panels etc different as well?

What are the different parts?

Cheers

Ryan
