FD Rear Fenders/Flares

I'm trying to find FD Rear Fenders that fit my taste...so what am I looking for?

I'd say a near perfect rear fender to me is the FEED rears that add 20mm-25mm. I like the way they follow the lines of the car when molded in. That being said I STRONGLY dislike the "cut out" section behind the tire.

This is a personal taste and I don't want to buy these and fill in that area if there is a similar rear fender without the "slot".

Thank you for any suggestions.

I wasn't a big fan of the slot either on my rear feed fenders before painting them. In the end, I am happy I kept the slot since it matches my front fender, I think it looks much better in person then it photographs. On that note, it is going to be quite difficult to find a full rear fender like that since most of them are just add-ons/flares like the burnout. Only thing I can think of is the re-amemiya rear fender on, this would look much better molded in:

now here are my rear fenders

I think a lot of it would depend on how aggressive your front bumper and fender is.

Ya the FEED rear fenders flow so nicely. I really like the rear slot though. It follows that same slot pattern that goes where the front vent is. Purerx7 pointed out the RE-A fenders that are pretty similar.

Have you thought about the burnout rear fenders?

It's only a flare but I think you could get that molded in nicely and it would flow really well and keep those beautiful FD curves while adding some width

Hey D-

The Burnout were my first thought but I dislike the sidesteps. =(

I believe I'm going to have to figure out which is closest to what I want and then mold the rest in.

Ya I hear you. You could always just get the rear fender and get the body shop to mold them in without using the sideskirts. There is a gap between the fender that the sideskirts and rear bumper fill so that is the area but I think a shop could easily get that molded in. I mean it would be more work but might be exactly what you are looking for.

Hey B-

I see you are making good use of the smudge/blur tool. You should try clone stamp. =)

If you were located in Cali, i could make that gap disappear in real life should you order that kit.
