Well from what I've heard from someone is that its not bad at all unless your tall. Because of the angle its in in it will reflect a little upwards..so if your head is close to the headliner youd better wear sunglasses but other than that not bad. I'm waiting on my Mazdaspeed cluster so I can't put it in yet but he also told me that it does reflect the light from the gauges at night. It's like star wars but I personally like the glossy look so will see. Jorge C

Here are some pic's of my interior pieces. Did them in a Apple Red. Since, I will be installing a Apexi kit and painting the FD candy apple red.
I still have a to re-sand and spray again each part again.
Take your time taking out the parts, prep and paint on these parts.
Had to rebuild all the parts. The plastic was really brittle and cracked.
Oh, you may notice that the A/C controls have been replaced with 2 gauges and a shift light. I'm installing the new A/C controls in the flip down compartment under the radio.
P.S. Made a arm rest out of the driver side door compartment.

I repainted mine last year also, while I was happy with the results so many tabs had broken off and the alignment was off.
I talked to Malloy and they quoted me $740 to swap everything except for the IP hood, that would make it almost an even 1K.
I just plan on doing the swap. It will be worth it to get the new BSR tape and all of the correct mounting tabs.

I was actually pretty pissed, not at Malloy but at the local dealer.
Ray at Malloy is a great guy...last year when I started to work on this project I called the local dealer and asked for a quote on the HVAC stack cover. He told me $940 for the unit. I told him I don't need the unit, I need just the cover itself. Said they don't sell it by itself....so I figured I'm 3K into the interior and I'm not paying 1K just for the cover.
Then I saw the guy selling the shifter console for 80 bux in the for sale section and people saying Malloy sells it cheaper.
Got to thinking and called Ray. Here is the break down, please these are off the top of my head, don't shoot me, but they are close:
Shifter Cover - $64.00
HVAC Stack - $96.00
Passenger Side Door plastic w/ handle - $160.00
Drive Side Door Plastic - $265
Driver Side Door BIN - $160
IP Hood & Gauge Cover $250 or there abouts
For brand new parts, with good clips I think its a great price after seeing the used costs and these will fit and all snap together nice, plus they come with the BSR tape.
I'm doing it, probably a door at a time, order the parts, some noise reducer, etc and put together an entire door, then the center section, then the other door.
I was thinking if Ray was interested in doing a GP if we could get enough people together.
I sanded all my parts and spent days doing it, yes it came out decent and yes it only cost me $50 or so in paint and sandpaper, etc but for the time I spent doing it I rather would have paid for new parts, alot of my tabs broke on reinstall.
BTW, Malloy's price on that $940 part was $640.
