He got the real RE Amemiya ones, and those are more expensive since it is the original maker of those lights...

I think the main difference is that you have no ******* clue as to what is going on. RE lights are basically the same as the Rotary Extreme lights seeing as the Rotary Extreme lights are a copy of the RE lights.

If you are so worried about spending that much ($850 is not all that much in terms of FD repairs and upgrades) just for some lights on an FD, sell the damn car. If you dont, you are on a collision course with poverty.

BTW, eBay has a set of super-cheap C-West knockoffs for less than $700 you cheap bastard.

In general, yes. I'd also advise that you get a quality light kit once, so as not to waste your money. The larger differece in prices you are seeing will most likely be do to HID upgrades, other than that, look to pay above 850+ unless you are getting a deal from someone.

On that same note, I'd price check as much as I want to, as none of the people here on this forum/thread are paying money out of their pocket for the headlights you seek. $850+ IS a lot to be spending period...which evidently is why we have so many group buys, used items, sales, and broken FD's in the first place. Its not a cheap car, but attempting to spend wisely is better than spending foolishly in any mans book I'd say.

The headlight covers in the first picture are tinted. Not all Rotary Extreme sleek lights look like that. http://www.rotaryextreme.com/sleeklight.html
