FD gauge pod --- mounted above glove box
I seen several cars in magazines with these gauge pods that mount 3 gauges above the glove box in the dash. Does anyone sell these things??? The last turbo mag had an orange FD with these pods.
Anyone???
Anyone???

I found out that Sp engineering did that car and they did make that gauge pod. It was a custom one off but they have had many inquiries about producing them. They might put them into production in the future. We can only hope.

Actually it's not a one-off.....I have the only other one produced. So I guess that makes it a two-off
It's made out of carbon fiber and SP did not make it....I will talk to the guy who made it cause he said he was thinking about making more of them but he's good friends with SP so didn't wanna step on any toes.
I'll get back with more info......

I got it from the guy who made it for SP. I really don't want to give out his info.....I don't think he wants a bunch of people calling him. I have tried to get in touch lately but he's been at races so I haven't got a response yet.

They are for small Din style gauges. I made one myself out of wood for 4 gauges and covered in vinyl. You got to buy very small gauges tho! I think Apexi and HKS also sell similiar items.

the instrument hood and panel is the same on RH & LH Drive cars - Look closely at pictures of both and you will see they are the same - the shape is actually symetrical about the center of the steering column
