vented hood

does anyone know where to get a vented hood for less than $600 fiberglass or cf it doesnt matter.

i have one of his hoods. Top notch work and great care taken with the shipping. The hood needed no touch up work before paint!!! Even the edges were sanded smooth.

I was thinking with those hoods, if your ever caught in rain, can the water get in very easy? and make alot of things rust?

Driving through rain isn't a problem.... it's parking that can gather water. Some of them come with "rain blocking plates" that you are supposed to attach to the underside of the hood in the event of rain, but I used to just carry a trashbag with me (for parking or washing the car)

Water getting in is not as bad as it sounds. The main thing to protect is the alternator and I haven't seen a hood with vents right over it.

Many people have used vented hoods and left their car outside parked during rain without any problems.
