fc black molding
Has anyone had success painting the black side molding on the S4 FC's?? I'm not terribly fond of the look of it but figured I could paint it to roughly match the body..

Yeah, that's no biggie - car looks SO much better with body colored molding.
That should be standard in an FC repaint if you ask me!

primer
I think I will be very careful about it to try to avoid the door ding problem. Remove them, scuff up a bit, clean, prime, sand, clean, prime, paint etc. Something along those lines... may not even make a difference who knows, lol.
edit: damn your car looks nice!

tried to remove and paint mine, but they're brittle and I broke them, so they ended up shaved(look in avatar), the car is painted now and it looks so much sexier sans the mouldings, i'll post pics when it's outta the shop!

When I painted my car 1999 Mazda Miata Highlight Metallic Silver, I had the mouldings painted aswell.
