Extreme dimensions GTC-front?

Does anyone have any experience with this company? Is there GTC-front a good copy of the real thing? And what about the material, do they use duraflex in all there bumpers? I want to modify the bumper a bit so i dont know if duraflex is a good choice. How does it react if i use normal fiberglass on it?

Any comments are welcome. Heres a link to the front: http://www.extremedimensions.com/4487.html

I don't have any first-hand experience with that company, but at that price, I wouldn't expect good fitment. It says in the description it is made of fiberglass. I personally wouldn't put anything other than urethane on my car.

Ok. I think their "fiberglass" bumpers are made of duraflex.

Isent urethane very difficult to modify? I think i want a fiberglass bumper. Whats the downsides with fiberglass?

Down side to fiberglass is it's easy to crack, but atleast if it does you can repair it. No one makes a urethane front end except the 99 spec with no license plate sticking out that Chuck at Rotary extreme.

Don't ever buy extreme dimensions. Their product is horrible. Many times it isn't cured properly or arrives cracked broken. A friends shop used to deal with them.

Yeah, you have said that in 3+ threads now. How long ago was this? Maybe they are better now? My problem is that i cant just order any bumper i want, the shipping to Sweden will cost me 3-4 bumpers. But i have a guy that can get me a ED bumper at a decent shipping price.

Thanks for the warning, but i really need to know if this bumper fits without to much cutting and sanding. And i have no idea what "duraflex" is like. Maybe its crap, i dont know...

i had one until it was taken out by a pig in the road, the bumper was very tough though, it is thicker than most fiberglass peices and looks great, it took many hits and never gave out until that damn pig in the road.

Sounds good! How was the fitting? And what about the duraflex, is it very rubber-like or what? How heavy is it compared to the OEM front?

Thanks for the help.

My friend bought a kit for his MR2. The bumper was a cm too low compared to the hood and skirts didn´t fit at all. The rear bumper was ok. I also bought C2 skirts and rear bumper for my FD and the fitment sucked. Rear bumper was an hour job but the skirts didn´t fit at all.

i personally know them! fitment does suck on some of their products! but from what i was told they supply raceonusa.com and importfan.com which most of their products fit great w/ little or no fab. work.

call and ask for enzo and say you know Ivan(bro)350z or Guillermo(me)FD3S

and he will give you a great deal!
