Eclipse subs.....

would 2 15in eclipse subs fit in the back of an FD?

im aware it will be EXTREMELY tight.... but will it work....

cuz i can get a REALLY good deal on Eclipse SW9152Pro 15 in subs.....

that can push 5000 watts thru 1 sub.......

when i say good i mean 200 each......

get on eclipses site and check the mounting depth and such and take a look. I don't know for sure, but I'm sure you could make it work.

I have 2 12" JL W3s and there a pretty tight fit. Really those fit it just perfect with not much room to spair. You maybe alble to do 2 15's but I duno for sure if those would fit. Not saing they wont or will just going by what it looks like with 2 12s in there.

If you plan on pushing 5000 watts to them, then there is no way in hell you can make it sound all that good because you won't have enough airspace for them. Having a single 15" will do fine. With the proper tuning and box you could hit 145, give or take 3db. Because I hit 146.7 with a single 15" Audiobahn and I was pushing 1200 watts RMS! Without a capacitor or dynamat.
