The TSG simply didn't fit my back as well as the RSG. It would have been better with a pad in the small of my back, but using soft pads in a racing seat kind of defeats the purpose.

It would be a great seat if you absolutely postively must have more headroom, but the RSG is a better overall seat IMO, since it's not as aggressively reclined.

What rails do you have your seats on? I wonder if they're narrow enough to fit in super low rails...

Im running the ebay bride zeig on nagisa auto rails. Fit perfect. Passenger rail is a little to close to the trans tunnel i had to press really hard on the seat to get the holes to line up and it difficult to slide forward and back on passenger side but it still works great.

Seats are amazing quality. ZERO reason to spend 3x as much for real brides UNLESS you are running reclinables.

Sounds like you've never sat in a real Bride or Recaro, because the rigidity is night and day. Of course that doesn't matter much if you can't drive fast enough to make it flex....

Iv never sat in real brides, however iv sat in sparcos and buddy clubs. There is zero flex front to back whatsoever. The only noticeable flex is a very slight amount at the leg boulsters when you force yourself down into the tight grabbing base.

I cant really inagine how real could be that drastically improved...there not much else to it w a full bucket.

The difference between a $900 Recaro and a $200 Recaro replica is night and day, but you have to actually drive the car at the limit to notice the difference.

If you plan on drag racing or tracking the car the knock offs won't pass an inspection also the fabric on the knock offs is cheap so uv rays fade it fast to a purple if there black and pink if there red
Man up and get the real deal cheap parts have no place on an Rx7

I'm not into the Racing side of things yet,so The question that I am thinking is: would the REAL Bride seat be certified while the Fake one not pass?.

Thanks I am sure in large part to the knock offs the new line of Bride of Japan seat is FIA certified and they are going back and certifying the old models as well. In the past, only one or two seats in their entire line up was FIA certified.

I recently bought CF shell Bride Japan Vios IIIs; the quality is awesome and they are FIA. I am 5'8" and pretty fat at 200lbs and dropping.

Actually the fat squishes out of the way fine, but the shoulders could be more broad. It is fine when I am driving holding the wheel, but if I were on the passenger side it would slump my shoulders forward a bit.

If the shoulders on the seat were any wider (as they are in other Bride models) it would not fit in the FD centered to the steering wheel without hitting the door panel.

Though they are on Bride Low Max rails at the lowest setting the only reason you sit a an inch or two lower is there is less padding. I can slide my hand between the seat bottom and carpet.

If you don't need/want FIA I would be tempted to pick up some Bride replicas and try them out they are so cheap. If you fall in love, get some real Brides.

I would get some iron patches stating "FAKE!" to put on the head rests so I would be rocking fake Brides with pride instead of pretending or being duped like most people.
