Plenty of you do your own mechanical work... and if you go to high-tech homebuilt aircraft sites you find people who build their own aircraft from sheets of cloth and resins...

So, with the price of CF hoods being so expensive and hard to get, has anyone here tried to make their own CF body panels?

 

yeah lots of people have. as a matter of fact i want to make a n/a hood becouse i havent found a aftermarket one.

but yeah if you search youll find alot of posts about custom molded parts.

 

so where would you look to find out how to make it and where to get materials in bulk?
