I was considering getting a set of those. Not those one's exactly but still clear. I was worried about the rice factor, also that the stock one's are still pretty much clear anyways so I changed my mind.

You can easily do this yourself to your existing lightis. Just take them apart (soften the glue with a heat gun or hair dryer) and simply remove the orange pieces. Presto......clear lenses.

My mechanic has clear side marker lights front and rear on his silver fd. they look very good ,blend in well. He removed the amber part in the front lights and put in an amber blub

I'm talking about the side lights, there's one on the SIDE
of the front bumber and one on the rear quater panel.one's amber and other red.I have already done the mod to the front lights turn signal, These lights are the side running lights. I have never taking these lights out to look at them, can you do the same thing by taking out color part,as i did with the front turn signals.

Yes, these are the lights we are referring to as well. The side markers, not the parking light assembly.

I have them on my red car and they look really good in my opinion. I don't think there is much of a rice factor.

You CANNOT do this to the sides. The sides have colored lenses, and it will not work. Also, it is VERY difficult to even pry them apart, with or without a heat gun. I don't know what exactly the guys above are talking about, but I would like to see pics of theirs if they were able to take them apart and make them clear, cause I have tried and this is not possible.

On the side lights you replace the colored lens with a clear lens. The amber part to be removed is in the front signal lights .
