ON dashboard pannels

hey there does anyone know of a good technique on getting your centre dashboard pieces/pannels off , like where the radio and ac/heat controls are on the FD 's , is it just clips holding it all in or do i need to take multiple sections of trim pieces off to get it out ?

You have to take the gauge cluster out to get the panel off which has the heater & A/C controls.

ah lol that was in the back of my head , and i take it i have to drop the steering colum as well ?

You don't have to, but it's safer and easier to just drop it. It's only 2 bolts, IIRC.

Two bolts, but it's not necessary to remove it the gauge hood/cluster.

thanks guys , ill be sure to post a reply to let you know how it went and im going to have to take my cluster out to fix the odometre anyway so what better time to do it !
