Removing heater controls/radio pannel

How do i remove this pannel? I took off the pannel that has the shifter boot and ashtray in it but i can't figure out how to take out the pannel above it because i am installing a new sterio. thanks

Are you sure you need to remove the entire panel for the stereo install?

To remove it, you have to remove the gauge cluster (dash). You don't have to pull it all the way out and disconnect all the connections, but you need to pull it loose so you can get to the screws that hold the A/C panel on.

Well yes because i need to take the old bose one out.
Is taking off that pannel the correct way to do all this?
